IconApps Iskandar

A collaboration between Multimedia Development Corporation (MDec), Iskandar Malaysia, University Technology Malaysia, IconApps Iskandar is an government supported initiative to create talents for creative industry. Targeted at professionals and students,  IconApps Iskandar  is conducted as a 8 week boot camp held yearly, where participants learn how to develop app/games on mobile Android/IOS platforms using Unity3D/HTML5. Participants first pitch their project ideas and selected teams will undergo a 2 month training period. At the end of the boot camp, the teams have their app/games published on AppStore/GooglePlay, and top teams are further supported into entrepreneurship.

We are pleased to be course conductor for IconApps Season 3  2014 for the third consecutive year. Congratulations to the teams who won awards , and do check out the games!

• Ameen Journey won at IPCC 2012  and  won a RM50K grant.
• Kokondi won RM3K (third place) at SEGi College’s Dis.Rupt.Edu Competition. The winning team got an all expenses paid trip to The States to participate in Disrupt NY 2012.
